Fire crews are tackling a large blaze at a business south of York this morning (Tuesday).
Crews from Selby and Tadcaster were called to the fire at a woodyard on King Rudding Lane, Riccall, at 4.52am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Approximately 400 tonnes of wood chippings and two wood chipping machines were well alight on arrival.

“Crews requested the water bowser to assist with more water. Breathing apparatus and hose reel jets in use. This incident is still ongoing.”
