A man tumbled down an embankment and got stuck early this morning (Sunday).
Firefighters were called to help the man next to a road in Selby at 1am.
He was 15m or nearly 50ft down.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Selby assisted a male who had fallen 15 metres down a steep embankment and become stuck.
“Crew used a triple extension ladder to assist the male back up to road level.”
