A child got stuck in a tree in York this afternoon (Sunday, 30 June).
But luckily help was soon at hand in the shape of York firefighters.
A crew from Acomb were called to the incident on Water End at 2.12pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews brought the child down to safety using working at height equipment and a triple extension ladder.”
