A call was received to assist police in gaining entry to a property in Copmanthorpe at 11:29pm lat night (Saturday 22 June).
A man had managed to call the police from his Apple watch to say he’d fallen down the stairs and wasn’t able to get up.
The crew from Acomb used their door enforcer to gain access to the property.
A community first responder was then able to assess the male for any injuries.
