Firefighters were called to a property in York that flooded today (Sunday).
They went to the home in an unnamed area of the city at 9.24am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews discovered the leak to have been caused by burst pipe in the bathroom.
“The water leak was isolated by crews aswell as the electricity for precaution. Advice was given to the occupant to contact a plumber.”
