Easingwold, York and Acomb fire crew responded to a fire in a stables in Brandsby.
On arrival, the stables were well alight but it was confirmed no animals were in them. Stables measuring approximately 20 m X 30 m with straw inside was extinguished using one hose reel jet and two 45 mm hoses.
An investigation is now taking place.
