Emergency services were alerted after an aircraft called for help in North Yorkshire this afternoon (Saturday).
Firefighters were called to Leeds East Airport at Church Fenton at 3.13pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Selby, Tadcaster, York and Acomb responded to an aircraft in distress with a potential landing gear failure.

“Crews stood by at the aircraft’s landing point where it landed safely with no issues.
“Crews escorted the aircraft to the hanger and carried out a visual inspection.”
