Emergency services were called to Lendal Bridge this morning at 2:40am.
The ambulance service requested Fire assistance after recieving a call from a female restraining a male on the bridge.
On arrival, the fire service said they found ‘no persons were present’.
However they added that “in a nearby street, Police had one male in custody”.
