Emergency services called to crash at York shopping centre

Police and fire crews were called to a crash at a York shopping centre.

Two fire engines went to the incident at the Vangarde Shopping Park at 2.19pm yesterday (Saturday).

A blue car had collided with another vehicle close to Marks & Spencer.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Acomb and York were requested by police to attend an incident involving a single vehicle road traffic collision.

“Crews made the scene safe and left the incident in hands of police and ambulance.”
