Police are hunting for a driver who left the scene of a crash on the A1M.
It happened on the northbound carriageway, prior to junction 44 (A64), near Aberford between 7.15am and 7.30am on Monday.
A black SUV collided with the rear of a blue Ford Fiesta, but failed to stop.
The driver of the Fiesta was taken to York Hospital suffering from minor injuries, and was discharged later that day following treatment.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.”
