A man was assaulted by a driver while walking in Malton.
It happened at around 8.20am on Wednesday (15 April) on The Mount.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A man was walking on The Mount when a confrontation has happened with a driver of a vehicle which has then led to the man walking being assaulted causing minor injuries.

“The suspect then left in the vehicle.
“We’re appealing for information about the suspect, and any potential witnesses –particularly two women who may have potentially witnessed the incident.”
