Two fires were started deliberately in York last night (Sunday).
At 7.05pm a crew from York responded to a bin on fire near a park off Bellhouse Way in Westfield.
They used a bucket of water to put it out.
Then at 7.46pm, York firefighters responded to reports of a grass fire near Millennium Bridge.
They put it out using a knapsack sprayer and bucket of water.
The causes of both fires was deliberate.
