Both fire crews from Selby were called to a fire in a commercial building early this morning (Friday).
They were called to East Common Lane at 4.12am. Machinery was on fire.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews wearing breathing apparatus removed parts of the machinery to dampen down hotspots after its suppression system had effectively worked to stop any further spread of fire.

“Crews left the incident in the hands of the responsible person to arrange an engineer and inspect the machine.”
