A Sunday dinner mishap saw fire crews scrambled to a home in York last night.
Crews from Acomb and York responded to reports of a cooker on fire in Kingsway West, York at 5.43pm yesterday (Sunday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “This was a fire to Yorkshire puddings only and was out on arrival.
“Crews inspected with a thermal imaging camera and ventilated with a positive pressure ventilation fan.”
