There have been crashes on both the A19 and the A64 in North Yorkshire this morning.
The A19 has been partially closed going in to Selby close to Brayton Academy due to a collision.
And police are on the scene of a serious crash on the A64, between the Staxton roundabout, and the Seamer roundabout at the junction with the B1261, in Flixton.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The road is likely to be closed for some time, and traffic will be extremely heavy, so please avoid the area and seek alternative routes. Please follow local traffic advice for further updates.”
