A crash closed a road north of Thirsk this morning (Tuesday).
It’s on the A167 between Topcliffe and Busby Stoop. Police are on the scene.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Please avoid the area if you can, and use alternative routes where possible while emergency services work at the scene.”

The AA posted at 7.30am: “Road closed due to crash on the A167 Northbound from School Lane to A61 Busby Stoop Road. Traffic is coping well.”
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said they were called to the scene at 6.20am: “Crews from Thirsk and Ripon responded to a report from police of a lorry carrying livestock which had overturned with the driver stuck in the cab.
“Crews released the driver through the sunroof of the cab using crew power. This incident is still on-going at the time of publication.”
