A crash partially closed a main York junction this morning (Saturday).
It was on Clifton at the traffic light controlled junction with Water End and Water Lane.
Two cars collided, a Ford Focus and a Renault.

Police, fire and ambulance crews went to the scene.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Acomb and York crews responded to a two vehicle road traffic collision.
“All persons were out on crew arrival, no sign of injuries however a paramedic checked the occupants as a precautionary measure. Police were also in attendance, no action was taken from fire service.”
The road has now been cleared.
Earlier diversions were in place. Drivers leaving York were being diverted down Clifton Green to Water End.
Those coming in via Clifton are also being diverted by Water End. Drivers on Water Lane were being sent left towards York only.
