A crash closed a stretch of the A19 this morning (Thursday).
Police were at the scene of the incident, which was near Hutton Sessay, between Easingwold and Thirsk.
The full road was closed for a while because there was debris on the carriageway. It has now reopened.

Earlier a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The relevant highways authority has been notified, and we are working closely with them to clear the scene and restore traffic flow as soon as possible.
“Please avoid the area and seek alternative routes where possible at this time.”
