Craft some spooky creations – as York Halloween festival returns

York city centre is getting a spooktacular makeover.

From today, (Thursday 23) to Friday 31 October, Parliament Street will be alive with pumpkins, crafts, and creativity as the Yorkshire Halloween Festival returns.

Hosted by Made in Yorkshire, the festival will offer a wide range of craft workshops, from spooky seasonal creations to unique artisan activities.

The festival will be open from 10am to 5pm every day. It will feature plenty of stalls of Yorkshire-made treats and treasures to browse.

Families looking for a little peace and quiet can step into the Sensory Tipi, a cosy creative retreat where children and grown-ups alike can take part in calming craft sessions. It’s the perfect way to relax and recharge before heading back out to explore.

So, grab your little monsters, witches, and wizards and head down to Parliament Street this October half-term. With crafts, creativity, and a sprinkle of Halloween magic, the Yorkshire Halloween Festival promises fun for all ages.

And save some pennies with YorkMix vouchers! We’re currently offering Half Price Halloween Craft Workshops vouchers for the Yorkshire Halloween Festival at £5.
