Child stuck in baby swing freed by firefighters

Firefighters were called to help a trapped child last night (Monday).

They went to the incident off Cornlands Road at 7.09pm.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb assisted a child who had climbed in to a baby swing and become stuck.

“The crew used small tools to dismantle the swing and release the child.”
