A caravan was gutted by fire last night.
Two fire crews were called to the incident near Malton at 6.59pm after the flames were spotted by a member of the public.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “On arrival crews found a caravan well alight.
“Crews extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets. The cause of the fire was believed to had been deliberate.
“Crews also used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots and small tools were also used.”
