Emergency services were called to a crash on the A1M last night.
It happened at 11.49pm between junction 47, the Allerton Park Interchange, and junction 46, the Kirk Deighton Interchange.
A car crashed into a barrier on the southbound carriageway of the motorway.
A fire crew from Knaresborough went to the incident.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The driver was out on arrival, uninjured and in the hands of highway crews.
“Crews isolated the vehicle with small tools before leaving the casualty in the hands of highways who were awaiting the arrival of ambulance crews to check the driver for precautionary reasons.”
