A car caught fire after hitting a tree in North Yorkshire late last night (Saturday).
Firefighters were called to the incident at East Harlsey, Northallerton, at 11.47pm.
The Northallerton “searched the local area for persons involved but none were found,” a North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said.

They put out the fire and left the incident in the hands of police.
