The police are investigating after a bus shelter was set on fire near York.
Firefighters were called to The Village, Strensall at 10.05pm last night (Friday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Huntington crew attended a report of a bench on fire.
The Village, Strensall
“On arrival it was the bus shelter that had been set alight.
“The fire was out on arrival. The cause was deliberate, believed to be by youths. Incident left with police.”
