Britain’s largest antiquarian book fair returns to York

The York National Book Fair returns for 2022 – with 200 of the country’s leading booksellers attending.

Held over two days, it has grown into the largest rare, antiquarian, and out-of-print book fair in the UK.

The York National Book Fair will take place at the Knavesmire Suite at York Racecourse on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 September 2022.

There will be a wide variety of books for sale, as well as maps, prints, marbled papers and binding materials.

Items will range in price from just a few pounds up to tens of thousands of pounds – will you find a bargain or a rare read?

There is free parking on site, as well as a free return shuttle bus from Memorial Gardens, next to York Railway Station.

Tickets are £2 on the door. Light refreshments and lunches will be available in the cafe.
