A 16-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital in a hit-and-run collision near a North Yorkshire village last night (Tuesday).
It happened around 8.20pm on the B1223 Wistow Road near Wistow village.
The boy was knocked of his bike by a car, which failed to stop.
Crash location
The teenager suffered grazes and bruising and was taken home by another motorist. He was then taken to hospital where he was discharged after treatment.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.”
