A boy who went missing in the York area has been found.
The boy, 13, was last seen waiting for the 415 bus to York at a bus stop at Escrick at 6.45pm on Monday.
Three police forces – North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and the British Transport Police – were involved in the search.
Shortly after 2pm, North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “Great news, the 13-year-old boy missing in the York area has been found safe and well.
“Thank you for supporting the appeal which has now been cancelled.”
