A bin was set alight in a York park last night.
Firefighters were called to the incident in Leeman Park at 7.34pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The Acomb crew responded to a bin fire containing household waste.

“Crews used knapsack sprayer and fire buckets to extinguish. Cause believed deliberate.”
