A motorcyclist became trapped after a crash with a car in a village near Ripon this afternoon (Saturday).
It happened at about 12.30pm on the A6108 at North Stainley.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews assisted ambulance crews in releasing the motorcycle rider who had become trapped.
“The casualty was transported to hospital via air ambulance. The incident was left in the hands of the police to carry out an investigation.”
