Becky Hill is set to play York Racecourse next year, it’s been announced today (Monday).
It was revealed on YorkMix Radio that the chart-topping singer will perform on Summer Music Saturday, 27 June 2026.
The English singer-songwriter rose to fame after appearing on the first series of The Voice UK and has gone on to have hits such as ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’, ‘Disconnect’, ‘Remember’ and ‘Crazy What Love Can Do’.
Tickets go on sale today, Monday 27 October, at 10am via the York Racecourse website.
James Brennan, head of marketing and sponsorship said, “It is great news that Becky Hill is debuting on the Knavesmire, a performer who knows how to entertain.”
Twice a Brit Award winner as Best Dance Act, racegoers can expect a high energy performance from the Glastonbury-style stage, after seven races earlier in the afternoon.
On the racecourse itself, the racing action will see seven thoroughbred contests with combined prize money approaching £300,000. The feature race is a Group Three over seven furlongs, the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Criterion Stakes.
It promises to be a fun-filled summer for racing and music fans as there are four other racedays scheduled. The traditional highlight of the 67th John Smith’s Cup Meeting (Friday 10 and Saturday 11 July) will be followed by the Music Showcase Weekend itself at the end of July.
The music act for Music Showcase Saturday on Saturday 25 July has been confirmed as Tom Grennan, with tickets already on sale.
A price freeze on adult general admission means entrance to the main Grandstand and Paddock enclosure starts at £40 per person for a group of six.
