Fire crews tackled another fire on an allotment in York last night (Thursday).
A crew were called to Telford Terrace, next to Hospital Fields Allotment, at 5.44pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from York responded to multiple reports of a fire in an allotment.

“Crews found a shed on fire measuring approximately 10m by 5m.
“Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire which was believed to be caused deliberately.”
It’s the latest in a series of arson attacks on York allotments. They were called to a similar fire at Scarcroft allotments last Saturday.
Last month, police urged parents to be vigilant after the spate of fires.
