Emergency services are dealing with a crash near Tadcaster Grammar School today.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to the incident and landed in a field nearby.
According to residents, the collision, which happened at around 12.28pm, is on the crossroads just past the school.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “There’s a traffic alert following serious collision at Tadcaster.
“Emergency services are dealing with serious two-vehicle collision on Leeds Road, near Toulston, at Tadcaster.
“The road has been closed to traffic with diversions in place.”
