The A64 was closed near Malton this afternoon (Wednesday, 10 June).
It was due to a building on fire close to the road.
A stretch of the A64 was shut near Rillington while firefighters deal with the blaze.
It has since reopened.

Earlier, a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Motorists are advised to avoid the A64 at Rillington whilst emergency services deal with a building fire.
“Local diversions are in place.”
