The Matalan store in York which closed after a fire will reopen within days.
It has been shut since 6 May, when the incident happened at the Clifton Moor branch.
The building was smoke-logged due to a small fire smouldering inside the air conditioning.
Matalan in Clifton Moor will reopen to shoppers at 9am on Saturday 11 October.
A spokesperson for Matalan said: “We’re excited to share that the store will be reopening on Saturday October 11.
“We will be holding an event to celebrate with a live DJ, family friendly entertainment, face painters, gift card give aways and more.”
