A city centre store has launched a closing down sale today (Tuesday).
Millets on Market Street has signs in the window saying ‘All stock must go’ with 30% off ‘absolutely everything’.
The outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment shop has been trading on the street for more than 20 years.

It is one of a series of closures of Millets stores across the country in recent weeks, including Wokingham, Halifax and Cheltenham.
Millets is owned by the JD Group, which also owns Blacks and Go Outdoors.
The group opened the biggest ever outdoor store in Europe when Go Outdoors moved into the former John Lewis store at Vangarde York last month.
For York customers it will mean the nearest Millets shops will now be in Beverley and Scarborough.
There is no date given for the closure. We’ve asked Millets for more details and will update this article when they come back to us.
