Emergency services were called to a number of crashes in the torrential rain today (Wednesday).
At 8.04am they went to a collision between a car and a van at Bulmer, Malton.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “On the arrival of crews, all occupants of both vehicles were out and in the care of paramedics suffering minor injuries. Crews made the vehicles safe and left the incident in the hands of the police.”
Then at 8.29am they responded to a three-vehicle collision on Wetherby Road, Rufforth.
All the occupants were out of the vehicles suffering from minor injuries.
And at 4.08pm, a vehicle left the A1M between J50 to J51 and hit a bush.
The male driver was left in the care of ambulance crews with minor injuries.
