** Sutton Bank has now reopened **
Sutton Bank (A170) near Thirsk is currently blocked due to a tanker that has come off the road.
It’s on the stretch between the top of the bank and the village of Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe.
The road is expected to be shut for several hours to allow the vehicle to be recovered.
Drivers should avoid the area and find an alternative route.
