A shed has been destroyed in a fire started deliberately at an allotments in York.
Fire crews from York and Acomb were called to Hempland Lane Allotments in Heworth at 6.45pm last night (Saturday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews extinguished the fire that resulted in 100% fire damage to the shed.

“The cause of the fire was deliberate.”
