Police say a teenager who went missing from home has been found.
Officers launched an appeal after the 15-year-old, who lives near York city centre, was last seen at around 4.15pm on Thursday.
In an update at 12.25pm on Friday, North Yorkshire Police said: “We’re pleased to report that 15-year-old Alex from York has been found safe and well.
“Thank you for supporting the appeal.”
