A roof worker has died in Thorpe Willoughby, near Selby.
Emergency services were alerted to an address on Forthlands just before 10.30 this morning.
It follows a report of a man in his 40s who had fallen while working off a roof.
However, he died at the scene.
The Health and Safety Executive has been informed about the incident.
