Residents tackled a fire in their garden in a North Yorkshire village last night (Wednesday).
Fire crews from Harrogate and Thirsk were called to the incident on Easingwold Road, Huby at 6.06pm.
The fire spread from decking to conservatory doors and was put out with a hosepipe before the fire service arrived.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews used small tools to remove sections of the decking, and a thermal imaging camera to check for fire spread and hot spots.
“They also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to ventilate the ground floor which suffered some smoke logging.”
