The 2026 Poppleton 5k and 10k Fun Run

The 5th annual Poppleton Fun Run is being hosted by The Millie Wright Children's Charity, sponsored and supported by Harrowells Solicitors and YorkMix Radio on Saturday 23rd May 2026.
We warmly welcome everyone (all ages/abilities) to run, walk or toddle along. Fancy dress and sponsorship are also encouraged!
Runners must pre-register and pay for entry before the event as numbers are limited. An early booking discount applies if registering before 15/04/2026. Registration fees support the work of The Millie Wright Children's Charity.
Runners should meet on Poppleton Green from 9.15am to collect their self-adhesive event numbers and warm up for the run, along closed roads, which will start at 10.30am.
Please park away from Poppleton Green. A diversion will be in place for the duration of the run.
Refreshments - available from 10.00 am at the Methodist Hall and from 12.00 at The Lord Collingwood family pub, with live music in the pub garden.
