Morndyke Parrot Sanctuary Summer Fete
Morndyke Parrot Sanctuary is hosting its Open Day and Summer Fete on Sunday, 28th June 2026. Visitors can enjoy free entry to the Secret Garden to observe the parrots, browse local stalls (crafts, plants, jewellery, tombola), and enjoy refreshments. The event also features an exclusive, pre-booked "Meet the Parrots" experience inside Europe's only large-scale mixed aviary ecosystem. The Cause: This year's fete is running alongside an urgent fundraising appeal. The sanctuary has reached capacity and is tragically having to turn birds away. All funds raised on the day will go directly toward building a vital aviary extension so more rescued parrots can be given a safe home.
