Confluence for Change is a groundbreaking multimedia exhibition that will reveal the unseen crisis of chemical pollution in Yorkshire’s rivers. While public concern often focuses on sewage and plastics, our exhibition, founded on the cutting-edge science from the NERC-funded ECOMIX project, will use a powerful combination of visual and audio art and associated signage to make the invisible visible and to give the audience an understanding of the underlying science around river pollution from chemicals and what they can do to address the problem. Our goal is to connect communities to their local waterways and inspire lasting behavioural change leading to a non-toxic riverine environment
