Care Home Open Week takes place from 15th–21st June 2026 and provides a fantastic opportunity for care homes across the UK to welcome families, friends, professionals, and members of the local community through their doors. It is a chance to showcase the rewarding and vibrant nature of life in a care home while helping to challenge common misconceptions about residential care. As part of the week, Lavender Fields Care Village have planned a variety of events, including a relaxing and restorative sound bath, a dementia friendly community café, a careers open day, and a community open day featuring live musical entertainment. We hope there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
