Birdsall Summer Live with The Overtones
The Overtones are back at Birdsall this May for a brand-new summer Edition.
Join us for a glorious summer afternoon and evening of live music in the park, with Birdsall House and the romantic monastic ruins forming the most spectacular backdrop. Think golden light, friends gathered on the lawn, a glass of something chilled in hand and harmonies drifting across the estate.
With their signature four-part vocals, timeless style and infectious energy, The Overtones know exactly how to create an atmosphere. From classic soul to modern favourites, it will be an evening made for singing along and dancing under the open sky.
We are also proud to showcase specially selected regional supporting artists and winners of the Birdsall House Talent Call: folk and country singer Stevie Mould; jazz and soul singer Lauren McNichol; and opera singers Joseph and Heather Buckmaster aka Flat Pack Music.
As well as a programme of live performances, there will also be a bar serving summer cocktails and wood-fired sourdough pizzas from Bistro Guy York. As this is a relaxed parkland concert, we invite you to bring along your own picnic rugs and chairs so you can settle in comfortably for the afternoon through to evening. Seating will not be provided, so do come prepared to create your own perfect spot on the lawn.
