Angela Ranson, author of the Catrin Surovell historical mystery series, is looking at York from a fresh perspective in her new book York's Hidden Treasures: The History You May Have Missed. At this launch event, she will talk about all the layers of history (from Roman to Victorian and beyond) that make York so endlessly fascinating for residents and visitors alike. Attendees will have the chance to ask about the book in a Q&A, and get their copies signed after the event. Fox Lane Books will be there to sell York's Hidden Treasures, and have offered a £5 discount on the price of the book for anyone who buys a ticket to the launch.
