Firefighters were called to a car blaze in York last night (Saturday).
An Acomb crew went to the incident at Clifton at 6.25pm.
A BMW 5 Series car was on fire. “The fire was caused by a fuel system fault, and caused 100% damage to the engine compartment,” a North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said.
“Crews used one hose reel jet, two breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera.”
