The £2.5 million Burnholme Sports Centre is now open.

The bright and modern facility, on Mossdale Avenue, is a community development by City of York Council and is operated by leisure enterprise GLL.

It offers a great range of facilities including:

  • a 25-station gym with the latest Technogym equipment
  • two studios offering an extensive range of instructor-led and virtual classes
  • a four-court sports hall which can host badminton, gymnastics and more
  • new changing rooms at the 3G pitches.

The levelled and re-seeded grass pitches will be ready for use in early autumn 2020.
