A 23-year-old woman from York has been charged with drink-driving.

She was arrested after failing a roadside breath test on Hurricane Lane, Clifton Moor, York, at around 11.45pm on Monday (November 27).

An evidential test recorded 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than double the legal limit of 35 micrograms.

The woman is due to appear at York Magistrates’ Court on January 11 2018.
